Molecular Formula: PbCrO4·PbO
Product properties: Insoluble in water, oil, and acetic acid; soluble in strong alkalis and inorganic strong acids. Turns black upon reaction with hydrogen sulfide and orange-red in alkaline conditions. Exhibits high tinting strength and strong hiding power.
Main characteristics: Lead chromate basic, of a color of orange yellow, and good light fastness
Application Scope:
Coatings Can be used for traffic marking paint (yellow markings on roads and airport runways), metal anti-corrosion paint (as a coloring agent for primer or topcoat, commonly used for machinery, pipelines, and other process equipment), and ship coatings (paying attention to the impact of seawater environment on chemical stability).
Inks Used for coloring offset printing inks, solvent-based inks, and water-based inks.
Plastics Used for yellow color matching of plastic products such as PVC and polyethylene (PE).
Others Can be used for coloring ceramic glazes, architectural coatings, rubber products, etc.
